Privacy Policy
Ferox is a game made by Kor Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you play Ferox, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Questions go to contact@korsolutions.net.
What we collect
- Your account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, your email address (with Apple, possibly a private relay address) and an account ID from that provider. We never receive your password.
- Your game. Your hero (level, stats, gold and items), your fights, quests, guild membership and donations, and your leaderboard standings.
- What you write. Guild names, tags and notices, and guild chat messages.
- Purchases. When you buy gold, the store's transaction ID, the product, and the store's confirmation from Apple or Google. Card numbers and billing details stay with Apple or Google; we never see them.
- Sign-in sessions. To keep you signed in and protect your account: a session token, the IP address the session started from, and your device's user agent.
- Reports and blocks. Reports you file about messages or guilds, and the players you block.
Ferox has no ads and no analytics or tracking tools. We don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell or share your personal data.
How we use it
- To run the game: keep your hero and progress, run fights, guilds and chat, and show the leaderboards.
- To deliver purchases: we check each purchase with Apple or Google and give you the gold once.
- To keep players safe: we filter offensive words, review reports, and act on accounts that break our Terms.
- To keep the service secure and working.
What other players see: your name shortened to your first name and last initial (for example "Ion S."), your level, your guild, your leaderboard standings, and what you write in guild names, notices and chat. Your email address is never shown.
If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, we use your data to perform our agreement with you (running the game and delivering purchases) and for our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse and moderation).
Who else handles it
- Railway hosts our servers and database, and stores the data on our behalf.
- Apple and Google handle sign-in and payments under their own privacy policies.
- We disclose data when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your account details, hero, progress, purchase records, chat messages, reports and blocks right away. Copies in our hosting provider's backups expire within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the game: Town › Settings › Delete account. You can also ask us to do it; see Delete your account.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, at contact@korsolutions.net.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK or California), you may have more rights, such as objecting to how we use your data or complaining to your data protection authority.
Children
Ferox isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The game talks to our servers over HTTPS. Your sign-in token is kept in your device's secure storage.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and its date, and we tell you in the game about important changes.
